Summer is here in full effect! Time for fun in the sun, pool parties, a good old family fun.
As most of us just adore popsicles to cool us down so do the little ones. So why not mix two awesome things together: fruit and popsicles?!
As I do most of my recipe shopping on Pinterest, here are two that I have tried personally with my little one.
Banana Dolphins in Jell-O Water
This adorable treat mixes just the right hint of candy and fruit. The presentation of it will definitely grab your child’s attention.
All you need is: Bananas, Swedish Fish, and Blue Jell-o.
First make your Jello. Follow the instructions on the box. Pour Jell-O into plastic cups of choice. Next depending on the size of cup, place 2-4 fish in each cup.
Next cut your banana in half, then cut half way down the stem. This will make the mouth of the dolphin to hold your candy fish. Place 1 Swedish fish inside the mouth.
When Jell-O is cooled and done, place your dolphin inside the cup of “water”. Next use a toothpick to etch some eyes. And the you good to go!
Kiwi Pineapple Pops
These are absolutely delicious! I found the best way to make them is to blend or puree the fruits.
You will need: 6-8 Kiwis, 1 Can of Dole Pineapple Chucks in natural juices, popsicle molds, popsicle sticks.
This one is so simple with a delicious outcome!
Simply place 5-6 Kiwis and 1 can of the pineapple chunks to blender. Blend until you have a soup consistency.
Cut out at least 2-4 slices of kiwi for each pop you are making. Place them inside your popsicle mold. Pour your puree mixture into the mold. Place a stick in each pop. Your sliced kiwi will act as your anchor to keep it straight.
Freeze to desired time and Boom! One delicious cool, and Healthy treat!
I hope you enjoy these with your family, I know I did!
Till next time! ✌💋
